A short documentary on the construction of the Swiss Canopy Crane II, the second incarnation of a canopy crane research site in Switzerland. The research group for Sustainable Land Use of Prof. Ansgar Kahmen at the University of Basel has worked over five years to establish this research site in Hölstein, Kanton Basel-Land in Switzerland. Over the next 20 years, graduate students and researchers from all over the world are invited to conduct studies on this patch of forest and investigate the biology of the trees using this special infrastructure.
